Tapsle

Privacy PolicyYour counts are yours.

What Tapsle collects, why, where it is kept and how to delete it. If you count without an account, almost none of this applies to you.

Last updated 28 September 2026Terms of Service →
The short version
  • Without an account, your counters stay in your browser. We never receive them.
  • An account exists only for Tapsle Plus. It holds your email address and what you choose to sync.
  • Your payment card goes to our payment provider. We never see or store it.
  • We do not sell your data, and Tapsle shows no ads.
  • Export everything free, any time. Delete your account and it is gone after 60 days.
01

Who we are

Tapsle is a counting app at www.tapsle.com, made by Saddling, a Nenyo brand ("we", "us"). This policy covers the website, the app you can install from it, and Tapsle Plus. We are responsible for the personal data it describes.

If you have a question about this policy or your data, contact us or write to hi@tapsle.com.

02

Counting without an account

Tapsle works without an account. Your counters, names, targets, notes, groups, settings and the last 7 days of history are stored in your browser on your device. They are not sent to us.

Because this data lives only on your device, clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app removes it. Use Export to keep a copy in a file.

To understand how Tapsle is used, the app sends us anonymous event counts, such as "the plans page was viewed". They are added to daily totals as they arrive and carry no name, email, account, device identifier or cookie, so there is no record that corresponds to you.

03

If you have Tapsle Plus

Signing in is only for Tapsle Plus members. When you have Plus, we store:

  • Your email address, and your Google account ID if you sign in with Google. Google also shares your name and profile picture, which we do not use. We never receive your Google password.
  • What you sync: counters, groups, notes, settings, the individual counts behind each value, and up to 60 days of history.
  • Backups of that data, made daily.
  • Your devices: a name, the platform and a last-seen time for up to 5 signed-in devices, so you can sign one out, plus a token to send notifications if you allow them.
  • Integration settings: the Google Sheet you connect and any webhook addresses you add.
  • Your plan, billing period and subscription status.
  • Shared counters, once available: the counters you share, and the counts other people add through your link.

We use this data only to run these features for you. We do not use your counters or their names to build profiles, for advertising, or to train anything.

We email you only when it is needed to run your account: sign-in links and notices about account deletion. We do not send marketing email.

04

Payments

Payments are handled by Bachs, our payment provider. Your card or mobile money details go directly to them, and Tapsle never sees or stores them.

From Bachs we receive and keep the plan you bought, the amount, the currency, the dates, the status of your subscription and a Bachs reference, so we can turn Plus on and keep accurate financial records.

05

Analytics and ads

Google Analytics loads only if you accept analytics cookies. It then records things like pages viewed, device type and how long a visit lasts. It never receives your counters. If you decline, it never loads, and you can switch it off at any time in Account, Preferences.

Tapsle does not show ads. If we ever introduce them for the free version, we will update this policy first and ask for any consent the law requires. Tapsle Plus will stay ad free.

06

Cookies and local storage

  • Essential: browser storage that keeps your counters and settings, remembers your cookie choice, and lets the app install and work offline.
  • Sign in: for Plus members, browser storage that keeps you signed in.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics cookies (_ga and similar), set only after you accept them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage stops Tapsle from saving your counters.

07

Integrations and shared counters

When you connect Google Sheets or add a webhook, Tapsle sends the counter events you choose, such as the counter name, value and time, to that destination. For Google Sheets we ask for access only to the spreadsheet Tapsle creates, never your other files. What happens to data at the destination is covered by that service's own policy.

When shared counter links are available, anyone with a link will be able to see that counter and add to it. Share links only with people you trust, and turn a link off at any time.

08

Service providers

We use these companies to run Tapsle. Each processes data only to provide its service to us:

  • Supabase: our database, sign-in and server functions, hosted in the United States.
  • Bachs: payment processing.
  • Resend: delivery of sign-in and account emails, and replies to messages you send us.
  • Google: sign-in with Google if you choose it, Google Sheets if you connect it, and Google Analytics if you accept analytics cookies.

Because our servers are in the United States, account data is transferred there if you live elsewhere, under our providers' standard contractual protections where the law requires them. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for their own purposes.

09

How long we keep it

  • History: 7 days on your device on the free plan, 60 days on Plus.
  • Daily backups: the most recent 30.
  • Counters and groups you delete: removed from our servers 30 days later.
  • Integration delivery records: 7 days, or 30 days for deliveries that failed.
  • Messages you send us: one year.
  • Payment records: as long as the law requires businesses to keep financial records, with your name and email removed once your account is deleted.

If you cancel Plus, your counters stay on your devices. Synced data is kept so you can pick up where you left off if you return, until you delete your account.

When you ask us to delete your account, it is scheduled for deletion. Sign in within 60 days and everything is restored. After 60 days it is permanently deleted, and we email you to confirm.

10

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the data we hold about you. People in the EU, UK and California have these rights by law, under the GDPR and CCPA.

Plus members can export and delete their data from the Account page, and anyone can switch analytics cookies off in Account, Preferences. For anything else, contact us. We reply within 24 hours and act within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

11

Children

Tapsle is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

12

Security

All traffic to Tapsle uses HTTPS. Synced data and backups are stored encrypted, and each account can reach only its own data, enforced in the database itself.

A small number of Tapsle staff can see an account's email, plan, devices and counts of its counters and backups, to answer billing and support questions. They cannot see what your counters are called or their values unless you turn on support access in Account, which lasts 24 hours. Staff actions are recorded in an audit log.

No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.

13

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will email Plus members before it takes effect.
