What is a push up counter?

A push up counter keeps count of your reps so you can think about form instead of numbers. In Tapsle the whole screen becomes the button in focus mode, so a quick tap between reps counts one, and a target tells you when the set is done.

  • Tap anywhere in focus mode
  • A target for each set
  • Reps per minute after each session
  • Rest with the interval timer

Put the phone down and count.

Focus mode turns the whole screen into one big button. Set a target for the set and Tapsle tells you the moment you reach it.

Sets, rest and reps together

Keep one counter per exercise, and use the interval timer for rest between sets. When you stop, Tapsle records the session with its total and reps per minute.

A daily push up challenge

Set the counter to reset each morning and aim for the same target every day. Free keeps 7 days of history, and Plus keeps 60 days with charts, so you can see your progress.

Push up counter questions

Can I count push-ups without looking at the screen?

Yes. In focus mode the whole screen counts, so a quick tap between reps adds one. On phones that support it, each tap vibrates.

Can I track several exercises?

Yes. Add a counter for each exercise. Each has its own name, target and history.

Can I time my rest between sets?

Yes. Use the interval timer for rest, and keep counting reps on the counter.

Is Tapsle free?

Yes. Unlimited counters, targets, steps, notes, lock, focus mode, pop out and export are free, with no account. Free includes up to 5 groups and 1 counter on a timer. Tapsle Plus adds sync, backups, longer history, shared counters and integrations, for $2.99 a month or $25.99 a year.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once Tapsle has loaded, counting keeps working with no connection, and you can install it on your phone or computer like an app. Your counts are saved on your device as you go.

Can I export my counters?

Yes, free. Export saves every counter to one file, and Import brings them back on any device. Your counts belong to you.

Can I keep the counter on screen while I work?

Yes, on Chrome and Edge on a computer. Choose Pop out and the counter floats above your other windows, with +1 and −1 inside it, so you can count while you read, watch or type. Phones and Safari do not support this, so the button only appears where it works.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your counters stay on your device. There is no account, and nothing is sent to us unless you turn on sync with Tapsle Plus.

What is the difference between Free and Plus?

Free is the counter: unlimited counters, up to 5 groups, 1 timer counter, targets, offline use, export and 7 days of history. Plus is memory: sync across up to 5 devices, nightly backups, 60 days of history with charts, shared counter links, unlimited groups and timers, and integrations. Cancelling Plus never removes a counter.
