20 minute timer questions

How do I start a 20 minute timer?

Choose a template above and Tapsle opens with a timer that adds one every minute and stops at 20. Press play on the card to start it.

Is 20 minutes good for meditation?

Twenty minutes is a common length for a daily sit. For interval bells, set the interval to 5 minutes and the target to 4 instead.

Can I change the length?

Yes. Open the counter settings and change the target, or pick another timer from the timers page.

Is Tapsle free?

Yes. Unlimited counters, targets, steps, notes, lock, focus mode, pop out and export are free, with no account. Free includes up to 5 groups and 1 counter on a timer. Tapsle Plus adds sync, backups, longer history, shared counters and integrations, for $2.99 a month or $25.99 a year.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once Tapsle has loaded, counting keeps working with no connection, and you can install it on your phone or computer like an app. Your counts are saved on your device as you go.

Can I export my counters?

Yes, free. Export saves every counter to one file, and Import brings them back on any device. Your counts belong to you.

Can I keep the timer on screen while I work?

Yes, on Chrome and Edge on a computer. Choose Pop out and the 20 minute timer floats above your other windows. Phones and Safari do not support this, so the button only appears where it works.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your counters stay on your device. There is no account, and nothing is sent to us unless you turn on sync with Tapsle Plus.

What is the difference between Free and Plus?

Free is the counter: unlimited counters, up to 5 groups, 1 timer counter, targets, offline use, export and 7 days of history. Plus is memory: sync across up to 5 devices, nightly backups, 60 days of history with charts, shared counter links, unlimited groups and timers, and integrations. Cancelling Plus never removes a counter.
