What is a 30 second timer?

A 30 second timer counts half a minute and tells you when it is up. In Tapsle it is a timer counter that adds one every second with a target of 30. The number is the seconds gone, the ring fills toward thirty, and the sound plays when it gets there.

Thirty seconds, again and again

Many routines are built from 30 second blocks: a stretch each side, a set of jumping jacks, a round of a party game. Reset between blocks, or set the timer to add 1 every 30 seconds and count the blocks instead.

Games and quick decisions

Thirty seconds is the classic length for a charades turn, a speed round or an answer on the spot. Put Tapsle in focus mode where everyone can see it, and the sound ends the turn.

30 second timer questions

How do I start a 30 second timer?

Choose a template above and Tapsle opens with a timer that adds one every second and stops at 30. Press play on the card to start it.

Can I repeat it?

Yes. Reset and start again, or set the timer to add 1 every 30 seconds to count how many thirties you have done.

Can I change it to 60 seconds?

Yes. Open the counter settings and change the target to 60, or pick another timer from the timers page.

Is Tapsle free?

Yes. Unlimited counters, targets, steps, notes, lock, focus mode, pop out and export are free, with no account. Free includes up to 5 groups and 1 counter on a timer. Tapsle Plus adds sync, backups, longer history, shared counters and integrations, for $2.99 a month or $25.99 a year.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once Tapsle has loaded, counting keeps working with no connection, and you can install it on your phone or computer like an app. Your counts are saved on your device as you go.

Can I export my counters?

Yes, free. Export saves every counter to one file, and Import brings them back on any device. Your counts belong to you.

Can I keep the timer on screen while I work?

Yes, on Chrome and Edge on a computer. Choose Pop out and the 30 second timer floats above your other windows. Phones and Safari do not support this, so the button only appears where it works.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your counters stay on your device. There is no account, and nothing is sent to us unless you turn on sync with Tapsle Plus.

What is the difference between Free and Plus?

Free is the counter: unlimited counters, up to 5 groups, 1 timer counter, targets, offline use, export and 7 days of history. Plus is memory: sync across up to 5 devices, nightly backups, 60 days of history with charts, shared counter links, unlimited groups and timers, and integrations. Cancelling Plus never removes a counter.
