What is a raffle number generator?

A raffle number generator picks a winning ticket at random from the numbers you sold. In Tapsle it is a counter in random mode: set the range to your tickets, such as 1 to 250, and each tap draws a number.

  • Your first and last ticket as the range
  • A new winning number on every tap
  • Full screen so the room can see it
  • A note to record each winner
Your raffle, in Tapsle

Draw in front of everyone.

Set the range to the tickets you sold and open focus mode. Each tap draws a number that fills the screen, so the draw is visible to the whole room.

A draw everyone can see

Put the phone on a stand or cast the screen to a TV. In focus mode the number is the only thing on the screen, so nobody has to take your word for it.

Several prizes, several draws

Draw once for each prize, and record each winning ticket in the note. Keep a separate counter for each raffle if you run more than one.

Raffle number generator questions

How do I set it to my ticket numbers?

Open the counter’s settings, choose random mode, and enter your first and last ticket numbers as the minimum and maximum.

Is the draw fair?

Yes. Each tap picks a number in your range with an equal chance for every ticket.

What if the same number comes up twice?

It will not if you turn on No repeats in the counter’s settings: every ticket can win once. Write each winner in the counter’s note to keep a record.

Can I keep the counter on screen while I work?

Yes, on Chrome and Edge on a computer. Choose Pop out and the counter floats above your other windows, with a Draw button inside it, so you can draw while your slides or video stay on screen. Phones and Safari do not support this, so the button only appears where it works.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once Tapsle has loaded, counting keeps working with no connection, and you can install it on your phone or computer like an app. Your counts are saved on your device as you go.

Can I export my counters?

Yes, free. Export saves every counter to one file, and Import brings them back on any device. Your counts belong to you.

Can I keep the counter on screen while I work?

Yes, on Chrome and Edge on a computer. Choose Pop out and the counter floats above your other windows, with +1 and −1 inside it, so you can count while you read, watch or type. Phones and Safari do not support this, so the button only appears where it works.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your counters stay on your device. There is no account, and nothing is sent to us unless you turn on sync with Tapsle Plus.

What is the difference between Free and Plus?

Free is the counter: unlimited counters, up to 5 groups, 1 timer counter, targets, offline use, export and 7 days of history. Plus is memory: sync across up to 5 devices, nightly backups, 60 days of history with charts, shared counter links, unlimited groups and timers, and integrations. Cancelling Plus never removes a counter.
